The Best Breakfasts in the World

This blog is a record of visits made to breakfast restaurants around the world, the best of which will feature in a book called "Breakfast At..."

The idea sprang from a breakfast in Mama's restaurant in San Francisco in December 2002, where we had a wonderful breakfast, and thought "I wonder how we can find other places like this?" Well, despite our best efforts, we could find no reference book about breakfasts. There were books on dinners, lunches, bed and breakfast, etc..., but nothing exclusively about breakfast.

So we decided to write one. This is a record of our progress. We welcome your comments and suggestions. If you recommend a restaurant that makes it into the book, you get a free signed copy, of course.
